V. Ongoing Support

We provide ongoing maintenance, support and updates for your website. This includes maintaining licenses on premium plugins, website updates, security monitoring of website, and remote backup to our Amazon s3 server. Ongoing website design and page updates.

Work with NHC’s
We work very closely with several National Heritage Corridors. Building a website is an ongoing processes. A website needs to constantly evolve to adapt to the needs of the communities it serves and to the need for efficient management.
The Last Green Valley
The Last Green Valley was redesigned using the WordPress framework and a customized theme. The site is a blend of a functional back-end for editing and managing content and an engagingly designed front end providing an engaging gateway to the Last Green Valley. We are currently building a custom directory of places to go and things to do integrated into an interactive Google mapping system. Consultation, marketing, and site development is ongoing. We are constantly striving to improve how people interact with the site and to make the site a more valuable tool for the organization. We work on a monthly maintenance and consulting retainer with the Corridor.
The Blackstone Heritage Corridor
When we redesigned the Blackstone Heritage Corridor, we created a custom WordPress theme and several custom plugins. The first stage of the website was a 7 month process with the launch of a fully mobile friendly design. The next stage included a brand new release of an online store and a Our ongoing work includes year-round maintenance, planning and adding new website features and consulting to the Corridor working on a monthly retainer.
Freedoms Way Heritage Area
Halagan Design was hired as a consultant for the redesign of Freedom’s Way in-house website rebuild. We helped Freedom’s Way set up the project and acted as a consultant as the content for the site was created and added. As the site neared launch we added custom forms. Currently we are under contract for ongoing support and maintenance and we’re looking forward to building an interactive partner/location directory and google map system.
